PREPARATORY MEETING FOR THE 2nd INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE ON ECONOMICS
(ISCE 2025) AT SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS CSE, CAN THO UNIVERSITY
On the afternoon of July 28th, 2025, a preparatory meeting for the 2nd International Student Conference on Economics (ISCE 2025) was held at Meeting Room 2, School of Economics CSE, Can Tho University. The meeting, chaired by A/Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh - Rector, led a foundational session to discuss and finalize preparations for the upcoming conference, which will be centered around the theme “Reframing Economics and Management in the Digital and Sustainable Development Era.” This conference follows the successful implementation of the inaugural event in December 2024.
The conference is scheduled for mid-November 2025 and will be organized by the School of Economics CSE in collaboration with the University of Finance and Marketing, Ryukoku University (Japan), and Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM). This event represents a key platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to present and discuss cutting-edge research on contemporary issues in economics and management, particularly about the digital transformation and sustainable development paradigms.
The preparatory meeting was attended by A/Prof. Dr. Phan Anh Tu, A/Prof. Dr. Truong Dong Loc and representatives from the high-quality management faculty of the School of Economics, CSE. During the meeting, A/Prof. Dr. Phan Anh Tu presented the primary objectives and focal points of the conference, leading to in-depth discussions among the organizing committee members to finalize both the intellectual content and the logistical framework for the event.
In a focused and collaborative atmosphere, A/Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh provided critical guidance on the structure, programming, and thematic content of the conference, assigning specific responsibilities to committee members for various preparatory tasks. The organizing committee is confident that the ISCE 2025 will continue to reinforce the academic standing of the School of Economics, CSE, and its partner institutions in the domains of economics, business, and finance research and education. The event is expected to further solidify international collaborations with academic scholars and institutions.
With meticulous planning, scholarly rigor, and a shared commitment to excellence, the 2nd International Student Conference on Economics is poised to be a landmark event that will facilitate academic exchange, foster research advancement, and contribute meaningfully to the discourse on the digital economy and sustainable development.
