Preparatory meeting to organize the 6th International Conference

in Economics, Business, and Finance

The School of Economics CSE at Can Tho University is the founder and organizer of the first International Conference on Economics, Business, and Finance. Up to now, the scale and scope of the conference has been expanded, and the most recent one was successfully held at Tay Nguyen University with the coordination of 4 universities including the School of Economics CSE, Sofia University (Bulgaria), Tay Nguyen University, and the University of Economics (Hue University), with many domestic and international delegates participating.

Continuing with this success, on the morning of June 17^th, 2024, at Meeting Room 2, School of Economics CSE, under the chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh – CSE Rector, held a preparatory meeting for the International Conference on Economics, Business, and Finance with the Conference theme in 2024 being “Sustainable Development in Economics, Business, and Finance". This year, the conference was organized by the School of Economics CSE coordinated with the University of Economics (Hue University), Tay Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration, Bac Lieu University, Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh City Campus, and Sofia University (Bulgaria).

Participants in the online & offline preparatory meeting included representatives of 6 co-organizing universities, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Thanh Duc Hai, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Dong Loc and the supporting staff (Can Tho University); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quoc Trung, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hung Cuong, Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan (Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh City Campus), Dr. Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Duc Tinh (University of Economics - Hue University), Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (Tay Nguyen University), Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung (Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration), and Mr. Pham Dinh Tri (Bac Lieu University).

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Thanh Duc Hai introduced some key points of the conference so that co-organizing members could give their opinions and posibly agree on the content. Accordingly, the co-organizing universities participated in exchanging and carefully discussing the content and format of the conference.

At this meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh – Chairman of the conference organizing committee delivered direction on the conference program and content and assigned tasks to members in charge of preparation. With the spirit of coordination, and thoughtful and solemn organization, the members of the organizing committee believe that the Conference once again affirms the position of the School of Economics CSE and the collaborating partners in research, training in economics, business, and finance with scientists and international organizations.

The conference will take place in mid-December 2024. This conference is an opportunity for experts, scientists, and managers to share and exchange research results on sustainable growth in the fields of economics, business, management, and finance.
