SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS – JOB FAIR DAY 2020

School of Economics (SoE) – Can Tho University plays a key role in training human resources for economic management and business administration for Vietnam, especially the Mekong River Delta. SoE has always accompanied businesses since its establishment.

Job Fair is held at SoE annually to enhance career guidance activities for students. As usual, in order to build a pragmatic environment to help students with a visual view of job demands, provide useful information, and introduce students to employers, on November 28^th, 2020 SoE has successfully organized “Job Fair Day of School of Economics 2020”, attracting 17 organizations, businesses, banks, and more than 2,000 students to attend.

During this Job Fair, SoE has also taken a in-depth consult of the invited attendants and students. Based on the results of this survey, SoE will enhance the curricula so as to help students achieve good professional knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of businesses and job demands.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh - Dean of School of Economics - delivered the opening speech at the Job Fair Day

 In the opening speech of the Fair Job Day, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khuong Ninh – Dean of the School – gave a speech to thank all the attendants for having accompanied SoE for so many years. That companionship is the driving force for Can Tho University in general and the School of Economics in particular to fulfill the tasks of training high-quality human resources and conducting relevant research and technology transfer.

The School of Economics will operate this Job Fair annually, with a keen desire to create a bridge to help employers find quality potential candidates, and provide useful and practical information for students to seek career development opportunities suitable to their capacity. During the Job Fair, SoE receives valuable supports from Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB), and Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock (Techcombank) via generous scholarships granted to students in order to assist them overcoming difficulties in study and life.
