DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
General information
Department of International Business (IB), a “young” department, has just been established in August 29th 2013 in which there are about 14 staff. It is used to be a group specialized in IB which is at the department of Economics. Our IB staff are a young team and are completely devoted to work, willing to share about the update on new teaching methods, course books, and especially share an interest in the different research (comparative) dimensions of International Economics (IE) and IB management.
The objectives of the programme
- Training students to possess politically correct attitudes, be professionally ethical, responsible, self-disciplined, professional, well-mannered, and be aware of staying healthy to serve the job.
- Training students to have a basic understanding of the market mechanism, obey the laws and policies of the Communist Party and the Government, especially those related to foreign trade.
- Developing a basic understanding of International Business field and in-depth knowledge of import-export activities in various kinds of businesses and organisation in the context of globalization.
- Conducting lifelong learningand self-directed learning skills, communicate effectively [including in English] and attain computer skills, and more importantly, have the ability to adapt to changes in life and work environments.
