THE DREAMERS- THE LOOK BACK AT VIET NAM YOUNG LOGISTICS TALENTS 2020
Viet Nam Young Logistics Talents 2020 - organized by Vietnam Logistics Training Network under the ward of the Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) is a playground for students with a passion for Logistics. Season 3 has attracted 479 teams from universities and colleges across the country with valuable awards and opportunities. The Dreamers from School of Economics, Can Tho University, was fortunate to be in the top 20 in the national semi-finals.
The Dreamers include four members with four distinct personalities: Nguyen Thanh Phu, Nguyen Thuy Linh, Bui Thien Nhon - students from International Business (High-Quality Program) and Nguyen Thi Phuong Trinh, a student from Tourism and Hospitality Management.
In the online round, the team received a score of 825/1000 and went straight to the 2-University Round. With the School Board's support and facilitation, the School of Economics's Leadership in coordination with the Commando (International Business team), the School Round was organized to find the best team representing the school in the semi-final. Together with the other 11 teams at Can Tho University, The Dreamers, with careful preparation, won the ticket to go to Ho Chi Minh City.
On November 07th, 2020, the National Semi-final was organized successfully at Hong Bang International University, Ho Chi Minh City. There were 19 teams from different universities in the Southern area joined with a buoyant and determined mind to be the winner. In the competition, the Dreamers had to go through two rounds. The first was named "Thap Lua" including 10 English questions about Logistics, and the second was a presentation session. For the latter, The Dreamers demonstrated a practical solution to the problem with fruit damage in Mekong Delta.
After 10 hours with highly competitive spirits, The Dreamers team proudly got the Consolation Prize. This prize contains not only new knowledge but also a meaningful experience. Additionally, through the contest, students in the School of Economics, Can Tho University could establish a new self-motivated, creative and inquiring mind to develop themselves.
