KHOA QUẢN TRỊ KINH DOANH

Tiền thân của Khoa Quản trị kinh doanh (QTKD) là Bộ môn QTKD và Tiếp thị được thành lập theo Quyết định số 1282/QĐ-ĐHCT của Hiệu trưởng Trường Đại học Cần Thơ (ĐHCT) ban hành ngày 08/12/2005 và là một trong 9 Khoa trực thuộc Trường Kinh tế (TKT). Đến tháng 9 năm 2022, cùng với việc thành lập TKT theo Nghị quyết số 74/NQ-HĐT ngày 19/9/2022 về việc thành lập TKT thuộc Trường ĐHCT, Bộ môn QTKD đã được chính thức đổi tên thành Khoa QTKD trực thuộc TKT.

Lực lượng giảng dạy của Khoa hiện nay gồm 16 giảng viên (GV) cơ hữu với 13 tiến sĩ (trong đó có 02 Phó Giáo sư) và 03 Thạc sĩ. Trong năm 2024, có 03 GV đang theo học tiến sĩ ở trong và ngoài nước và 02 tiến sĩ đang tham gia chương trình nghiên cứu sau tiến sĩ. Đội ngũ GV giỏi về chuyên môn, năng động, có tâm huyết, tận tụy với nghề, luôn quan tâm cập nhật kiến thức mới và phương pháp giảng dạy mới. Bên cạnh đó, đội ngũ GV của Khoa với nhiều kinh nghiệm trong công tác nghiên cứu khoa học đã và đang thực hiện nhiều đề tài nghiên cứu thuộc lĩnh vực kinh doanh và quản lý. Tất cả GV của Khoa phụ trách giảng dạy các học phần chuyên ngành trong các chương trình đào tạo do Khoa quản lý. Ngoài ra, các học phần thuộc khối kiến thức đại cương và cơ sở ngành sẽ được các GV thuộc TKT và các đơn vị khác thuộc trường ĐHCT phụ trách giảng dạy.

Khoa QTKD được giao nhiệm vụ quản lý chuyên môn 03 chương trình đào tạo trình độ đại học gồm Quản trị kinh doanh (7340101), Quản trị kinh doanh chất lượng cao (7340101C) và Kinh doanh thương mại (7340121) cùng với chương trình đào tạo trình độ Thạc sĩ QTKD (8340101) và chương trình đào tạo trình độ Tiến sĩ QTKD (9340101).

Thực hiện sứ mệnh của Trường Kinh tế về đào tạo nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao đáp ứng được nhu cầu thực tế về nhân lực của các doanh nghiệp trong và ngoài nước, Khoa QTKD luôn chú trọng vào việc tạo ra môi trường học tập tốt nhất để người học dễ dàng tiếp nhận kiến thức chuyên môn, rèn luyện kỹ năng nghề nghiệp trong lĩnh vực quản trị kinh doanh cũng như phát huy tinh thần học tập suốt đời.

Vị trí việc làm của sinh viên và học viên sau khi tốt nghiệp các ngành đào tạo của Khoa rất đa dạng, bao gồm:

Nhân viên chuyên môn tại các bộ phận chức năng như sản xuất, kinh doanh, nhân sự, marketing,... trong các doanh nghiệp thuộc nhiều lĩnh vực;
Chuyên viên phân tích, dự báo và tư vấn chính sách, hoặc chuyên gia cao cấp tại các sở, ban, ngành;
Nhà khởi nghiệp, tự thành lập doanh nghiệp và chủ động tìm kiếm cơ hội kinh doanh;
Nhà quản trị ở các cấp độ khác nhau trong tổ chức;
Nghiên cứu viên, giảng viên tại các cơ sở giáo dục, viện nghiên cứu hoặc các cơ quan hoạch định chính sách kinh tế và kinh doanh.

Kết quả khảo sát việc làm hàng năm của Trường cho thấy sinh viên tốt nghiệp của Khoa QTKD có việc làm đều đạt tỷ lệ rất cao (> 90%). Cựu học viên và sinh viên của Khoa hiện đang làm quản lý của nhiều doanh nghiệp lớn cũng như đang giữ các chức vụ quan trọng trong các cơ quan nhà nước ở Việt Nam.
