THE 6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN ECONOMICS, BUSINESS, AND FINANCE”
On December 12th, 2024, School of Economics - Can Tho University (CSE) hosted the 6th International Conference on Economics, Business and Finance with the central theme of sustainable economic development. University of Economics - Hue University, Tay Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration, Bac Lieu University, Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh city Campus, Sofia University (Bulgaria). and Tunk Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Malaysia (TARUMT - Malaysia) are the co-organizers. More than 150 delegates attended the conference from 6 countries, including New Zealand, Japan, China, Malaysia, Bulgaria, and Vietnam, in-person and online. The conference committee selected more than 90 papers to be published in the international conference proceedings out of 122 papers submitted to the conference, in addition to two main presentations delivered by Professors from Japan and New Zealand. Research papers focus on economics, efficiency, sustainable development, business management, economic efficiency, financial development, and investment, technology, and innovation in business and management.

Delegates attending the conference listened to research papers presented by both domestic and international scholars, notably two papers featured in the plenary session. Professor Ohara Morici from Ryo koku University, Japan, presented on the topic "Trusts that Promote the Adoption of Soil Diagnostic Fertilization Technology by Smallholders in Hunan Province, China", while Professor Robert Radics from Lincoln University, New Zealand, discussed the topic "Advancing Green Supply Chains for a Sustainable Future". These presentations provided valuable insights into current sustainable development tendencies in the world.

The research topics presented at the conference demonstrated the investment and dedication of lecturers, scientists, and other participants. Thus, with the main theme of sustainable economic development, the 6th International Conference on Economics, Business and Finance contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship between Vietnamese and international researchers in the field of economics and management, sharing many ideas and solutions, especially the issue of sustainable economic development.
