STUDY TRIP TO BINH THUAN AND NINH THUAN PROVINCES: OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS STUDENTS, SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS CSE, CAN THO UNIVERSITY
Within the framework of the Logistics and International Trade Practices Field Trip program and International Payment Field Trip program in the first semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year, the Faculty of International Business, School of Economics CSE, Can Tho University, organized a field trip for International Business students (high-quality program). The trip to Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces offered students a valuable opportunity to gain practical industry exposure, broaden their knowledge, and enhance professional skills through engaging activities including site visits, learning experiences, and academic exchanges.
Program highlights
The first activity of the trip was an academic and cultural exchange program between the Faculty of International Business (CSE) and the Faculty of Business Administration (Phan Thiet University). During the session, faculty leaders from both schools shared valuable insights about teaching, research activities, and future collaboration opportunities. Students from both universities also participated in lively cultural performances and academic discussions, creating a vibrant atmosphere for mutual learning and connection.

The next destination is VietFarm Food Joint Stock Company (VietFarm) in Ninh Thuan province. Here, the delegation visited the company’s large raw material area and production plant - the largest aloe vera factory in Vietnam. Students had the opportunity to learn about the modern production process, from preparIng raw materials to processing, packaging, and exportin products. They were also introduced to the strict quality standards for products exported to international markets such as Europe and Korea. Students have accumulated more practical knowledge about logistics and supply chain management in production and export activities.

The field trip also included visiting Binh An High-Tech Agriculture Company Limited (Binh An Farm) in Binh Thuan province. Here, students gained deeper insights into business thinking and production strategies to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets. The experience also provided them with tools to analyze business performance and improve product quality to meet international standards. The field trip helped students gain a more practical and in-depth view of the industry, and at the same time develop skills and confidence in applying knowledge to practice.
